Kaibin Wang is a sound designer, composer, and creative technologist whose work explores the intersection of theater, music, immersive experience, and live performance. Originally trained as an engineering student, he gradually found his way into sound and stage production while growing up in Shanghai, where early experiences in school productions led him toward a deeper engagement with performance as both a technical and artistic medium.

During his time at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Wang continued to build his practice through campus productions, live events, and collaborations with bands and independent musicians. These experiences shaped his understanding of sound not only as a technical system, but as a storytelling and spatial medium. Building on the creative team behind the musical Luxun, he later co-founded Click-In Studio, a group dedicated to developing new musical theater works and supporting productions at a professional standard.

Wang received his Master of Science in Music and Technology from Carnegie Mellon University, where his work brought together sound design, composition, programming, and spatial audio research. His practice focuses on creating immersive performance experiences in which sound, music, and technology work together to shape space, narrative, and audience perception.
